Phase One: Removal of the offending plastic-fantastic redundant rear reflector …

Don’t know why I didn’t do this long ago; I’ve pretty much hated it from day one but other priorities just seemed to creep in. Involved unpopping the rear carpet, exposing and removing four phillips-headed screws, then prying the reflector itself out.

Predictably, this simple effort caused my errant back to seize up, so it will take a day or two of recovery before returning to phase two (filling the four bolt holes in the rear panel and those now accommodating the license plate on the bumper) and phase three (remounting the plate where Dog, or God, intended it in the first place.
