Dennis Resurfaces

This morning, during my visit to Eric’s shop, I encounter Dennis who was shooting some paint on components for some sculpture he is scheduled to deliver to and display in China in April.

The other night Eric and I worked on a fix for the power window assembly enclosure. This morning we address the holes in the rear panel left by the removal of the (extraneous, in my mind) reflector between the taillights. After some prep, Eric welds up the holes.

Straight Outta Compton

The hip-hop biopic, “Straight Outta Compton”, heralding the early days of the N.W.A. group and rappers Ice Cube and Dr. Dre not surprisingly, as it is mostly set in the 1980s, features the appearance of a couple of 944s. And that’s not the only reason we recommend this film. Here are screen grabs:
