Thomas Aquinas, Dan Neil and the Porsche 911 Turbo

A number of years ago, my brother (himself formerly a university creative writing instructor) told me about his favorite contemporary automotive writer, Dan Neil, then working for the Los Angeles Times.  At some point, Neil was drafted by the Wall Street Journal where he continues to vividly pen his reviews and insights into Things Automotive.  One item I missed was his take on the 2011 911 Turbo, but my brother directed my attention to this philosophical read of the first order.  I’ve told you a little bit about Dan Neil, but in case you missed that high school history class on the day Thomas Aquinas was discussed, you’ll have to do your own reading.  But only after you have read the Dan Neil piece.
