Arizona Blast From The Past

Today while browsing through some of my archive of old never-before-processed black & white negatives, I came upon these from my year of residence in 1972 in Pinetop, Arizona, far from population centers and high in the White Mountains near the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. ┬áHere we see my ski-bum friend who lived in a schoolbus in the forest and ran a trusty 356 as his daily driver year around, despite the heavy snowfalls that might delay things for a day or two now and then … myself, I left my 911 behind in LA for the occasional return home, and maintained a VW camper with winter tires as my Arizona rig.
